The otome side to Anime Expo 2015
There was also a kabe-don corner where Saeki from My Forged Wedding kabe-dons you. Because I was never exactly a fan ofSaeki, I didn’t allow Saeki to kabe-don me. Readers, if you were hoping to see a little something between me and Saeki, I apologize! He may have been in 2D format, but I was still too embarrassed to allow him to corner me, nonetheless.
Photo opportunities weren’t the only thing I managed to obtain from the Voltage booth as I managed to obtain a decal, a fan and a bag which features the boys (minusSatsuki, unfortunately) of Sleepless Cinderella Party and Scandal in the Spotlight.
Similar to the Voltage booth, the NTT Solmare booth also gave out freebies. I managed to obtain a “Blood in Roses+” pin and a “Destiny Ninja” pin. While I’ve yet to give “Blood in Roses+” a try, I’ve played “Destiny Ninja” before and loved Taira Noritsune’s route. If only the “Destiny Ninja” pin featured Taira Noritsune instead… haha
Last but not least, I purchased a poster from the artist alley. It was a whopping $15; I say whopping because I usually am not the type to spend at exhibits and whatnot. However, I made this particular poster an exception because it stated, “I only date 2D boys“. I couldn’t help but to think to myself that this poster was perfect for the true otome gamer. To be honest with you, the artist (Kaiami) of the poster did a double take on me when I told her that I wanted to purchase this particular poster. I’m not exactly sure why, but I guess I just don’t come off like someone that would “only date 2D boys”. LOL
I suppose I could just be over thinking things, though as it could very well be that she just wanted to make sure that this particular poster was indeed the poster that I wanted to purchase. Well, it was the poster I wanted and the only poster I wanted.
