The otome side to Anime Expo 2015

Voltage MFWP at AX15
Since my interest in attending Anime Expo came about from playing otome games, allow me to begin this post with Voltage related photos from Anime Expo 2015. The Voltage booth was based off the otome game, My Forged Wedding/My Forged Wedding Party. The booth was super girly and very cute. There was also a chapel where you can take a photo(s) with models, who I guess were supposed to be characters from My Forged Wedding Party. I know Las Vegas receives a lot of hype, but seriously now, where else can you get “married” with two guys in one day? Move over Vegas, because what happens in AX, stays in AX. (I hope that didn’t come off too lame… LOL)

I believe there were a total of three different models that you can take a picture(s) with, however when I went to the booth, there were only two models present at the time.

There was also a kabe-don corner where Saeki from My Forged Wedding kabe-dons you.  Because I was never exactly a fan ofSaeki, I didn’t allow Saeki to kabe-don me.  Readers, if you were hoping to see a little something between me and Saeki, I apologize!  He may have been in 2D format, but I was still too embarrassed to allow him to corner me, nonetheless.

Voltage Otome Guys Decal

Photo opportunities weren’t the only thing I managed to obtain from the Voltage booth as I managed to obtain a decal, a fan and a bag which features the boys (minusSatsuki, unfortunately) of Sleepless Cinderella Party and Scandal in the Spotlight.

Besides Voltage, NTT Solmare was also present. The NTT Solmare booth was quite unique in that you could actually take a picture inside a “coffin”. Since I was feeling semi-superstitious at the time, I chose not to take a picture inside the “coffin”.
Pins from NTT Solmare Corp

Similar to the Voltage booth, the NTT Solmare booth also gave out freebies. I managed to obtain a “Blood in Roses+” pin and a “Destiny Ninja” pin. While I’ve yet to give “Blood in Roses+” a try, I’ve played “Destiny Ninja” before and loved Taira Noritsune’s route. If only the “Destiny Ninja” pin featured Taira Noritsune instead… haha

2D Boys posterLast but not least, I purchased a poster from the artist alley.  It was a whopping $15; I say whopping because I usually am not the type to spend at exhibits and whatnot.  However, I made this particular poster an exception because it stated, “I only date 2D boys“.  I couldn’t help but to think to myself that this poster was perfect for the true otome gamer.  To be honest with you, the artist (Kaiami) of the poster did a double take on me when I told her that I wanted to purchase this particular poster.  I’m not exactly sure why, but I guess I just don’t come off like someone that would “only date 2D boys”.  LOL

I suppose I could just be over thinking things, though as it could very well be that she just wanted to make sure that this particular poster was indeed the poster that I wanted to purchase.  Well, it was the poster I wanted and the only poster I wanted.
