Las Vegas View at Night

What comes to mind when you think of city lights at night? Is it romance or the hustle and bustle of a city that never seems to sleep? When you think of city lights, which city comes to your mind first? Is it by any chance Los Angeles, NYC, Seoul or Tokyo? What about Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is probably not the first city to pop up in someone’s mind when thinking of city lights but it is a place filled with a lot of lights. And it’s rather pretty at night. And even prettier when you see it from above, away from the chaos that makes the Las Vegas strip.

Not long ago, I reminisced about Las Vegas’ view at night and all I could think of was how I’d like to be able to enjoy such a view again. This is absurd considering the fact that I could probably get my fix in Los Angeles, yet something inside me was yearning for that experience I had in Las Vegas.

Perhaps it’s how Las Vegas differs from Los Angeles in that it’s really just the strip that has all of the hustle and bustle and once you venture a tiny bit away from the strip, you’re officially away from the glitz and glamour. Just like that.

Although I don’t have any plans to visit Las Vegas soon, I want to replicate the mood, ambiance, vibe and aesthetic I experienced at the Stratosphere (The Strat). If you have any suggestions on how I could do this without having to go to Vegas, let me know!
