In Bloom

The wonderful rain that graced the state of California has created a rather rare sight for people: superblooms. If you pay attention to your newsfeed, you might have come across articles suggesting where to see these superblooms. Of course, the reality is that you don’t have to travel far to see these “superblooms”. There might be a “superbloom” near you unbeknownst to journalists.

Why, just the other day, on a hilly road, I couldn’t help but gape in amazement at the sight of a gazillion yellow flowers before me. I’m not sure when I last saw such a beautiful sight at this exact location. It must have been ages ago or never. I don’t recall because it was too breathtaking of a scene which means this may have been the first time I saw something like this.

I would have loved to take a photo of this mesmerizing sight but I was busy driving on this hilly road… It’s okay, though. Just seeing it was more than enough.

If given a chance, I still want to capture the beauty of a superbloom or two.

However, as mentioned in a previous post, mosquito season is about to begin and I’m not sure how much of a happy camper I’ll be if I need to hang out with mosquitoes just to capture the beauty of a superbloom.

That said, I was able to come across some flowers that are blooming beautifully.

Here are some photos of the flowers I came across:

Yes, with “BamBam”. 😛

A peach colored rose!
