Fullerton Arboretum in Full Bloom
I’ve come to understand why some people find joy in coming to the same place over and over. Some enjoy the sense of familiarity. Others may want to relive the special memories made there. At places of nature, whether it be a garden or arboretum, the reason could be as simple as wanting to be one with nature as often as possible. After visiting the Fullerton Arboretum more than once, I’ve come to understand why it’s essential to visit places of nature more than once. It’s because as the season changes, nature itself will change, too. At the Fullerton Arboretum, for example, I saw a bunch of flowers in bloom that I had never seen before and it was such a sight to behold.
I’m not one to get memberships at places but it dawned on me why people opt to get a membership at arboretums and nature centers. It’s because you get your money’s worth if you go there often enough. And even at places like the Fullerton Arboretum, where the admission is free, if you go often enough, it might be worth it to support the grounds of the Arboretum, by being a member, or at the very least, providing a donation every now and then.
I don’t want you to get the wrong idea that I’m trying to create a shout out for Fullerton Arboretum, or any of the other nature centers I’ve been to, but after seeing these flowers, and seeing the various changes at places I’ve been to more than once, I’ve come to really appreciate all of the hard work that goes into keeping these grounds nice and well maintained.
I don’t know why I never noticed these flowers, but they must not have been blooming when I last went there. It also could be because California wasn’t experiencing a super bloom in all of the times that I visited Fullerton Arboretum. I know it might not be the right word (super bloom) to use but I think a lot of places of greenery have definitely been affected positively in some way or another thanks to the excessive rain California experienced. For people that aren’t able to venture out too far whether it be because they just can’t or because they don’t want to waste gas money, I suggest you find the nearest place of greenery to enjoy a taste of the super blooms.
At the Fullerton Arboretum, I had the opportunity to see a bunch of beautiful roses that were in bloom, tall, towering sunflowers and a lot of other colorful flowers that I don’t know the names to. It was really beautiful to see. In addition to that, I was able to see butterflies doing their thing among the flowers.
Sometimes it’s the simple things that can put a smile on your face. Yes, it can be something as simple as seeing these flowers bloom.
I also saw something very interesting on the grounds of the Arboretum. I never noticed it before but there was a very interesting plant against the wall. It looked like thick string beans. I don’t know what type of plant it is but you’ve got to watch my video and let me know what you think about it or even tell me what type of plant it is.
I’d like to visit the Fullerton Arboretum again, however the approaching hot weather might just keep me at bay for a good amount of time. I suppose I can always watch my videos of the Fullerton Arboretum in the meantime.
