Walking in Nature
Okay, I’ll take that back. If you’re an early bird, walking in nature is possible prior to 10 am. Once it reaches 10:30 am, you start to feel the heat which could be a treat for anyone that enjoys being outdoors in super sunny weather.
The irony of it all is that you’d think it’d be hottest around noon except noon time actually isn’t the hottest part of the day this summer. It’s actually around 3 pm or 4 pm when the temperatures hit its peak.
I don’t know about you but all I can say is no thank you!
There have been things I want to do, see and explore, only to skip out of at the end because the weather just isn’t in my favor.
Just the other day, a place I planned on visiting was forecasted to be around 96 degrees. I know the occasional breeze will be helpful in the great outdoors but I still did not want to risk being outdoors under such weather conditions. (Desert dwellers are probably laughing at me right now and rightfully so. It’s not like I’ve never managed at 110+ degrees before, but if I have the option not to deal with such weather, I will gladly opt out.)
So, in this weather, how has everyone been tending to their outdoor exercise routines or nature fixes, even? What have you all been doing under the hot summer sun?
