I remember silently gawking at the beautiful Christmas trees back when I first attended the Festival of Trees at the Riverside Convention Center in 2019. Unfortunately, I didn’t do much gawking this time around. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that I didn’t see enough holiday cheer in the atmosphere and was thus just turned off by everything.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I decided to buy a ticket to the first ever Anime Expo Chibi event. Regardless, I decided to buy a ticket since I was in desperate need of doing something to feel “normal” again. Would there be a lot of people? Perhaps, but I figured it’d be a lot less in comparison to the main Anime Expo event held “every” summer. And I was right.
What’s pink and flamboyant? Flamingos! Flamboyance, an event held at the South Coast Botanic Garden is officially over and I almost didn’t get to attend it. But of course, I made it and am rather happy to have seen all of the topiaries featured there.
If you read my previous post, you already know that I visited the South Coast Botanic Garden. In addition to going “egg hunting” on the grounds of the garden, I went there to specifically see their tropical butterfly exhibit called SOAR. There’s an additional fee to visit this exhibit but it’s worth it if you want to see exotic butterflies up close.
It’s about to officially be summer but prior to that happening, I want to blog about my experience with finding eggs. I know what you’re thinking but this blog post isn’t about Easter. It’s actually about Cirque du Soleil’s eggs at the South Coast Botanic Garden.
