Walking in Nature
It’s hot. So hot that it’s probably safe to say that the whole world is experiencing and complaining about this horrid summer heat. If anything, I’m so glad that the summer weather didn’t truly kick in until July arrived. That cool spell in June was a gift from above. But it was that cooler weather in June where we could easily go on walks without a care to the time of the day it was. Now, it just seems way too hot to go for a walk, regardless of the time of the day. -
Normalcy in the Travelsphere?
Is the travelsphere finally back to normal? I think not and I think it’s a shame that so many media outlets are making it seem as though things are already normal or quite close to it.

When Traveling, Stay Away from Freebies
I like freebies but sometimes, I just have to turn my nose on a freebie. In the traveling world, there’s almost no such thing as free but once in a while you will actually come across free. And it is at that point in life that you decide if free is worth it because not every freebie is worth your time, energy, safety and sanity, even.

The Warmth of Okinawa
If it weren’t for Okinawa, my visit to Japan would have been a depressing one. Okinawa, while still a part of East Asia was different in that in general, the people were warm. When they smiled, it seemed genuine. While not everyone was all smiles, the majority of the people I encountered seemed friendly, open, less judgemental and welcoming. It was what I needed and wanted from a trip.
