Blessings from Nikko Toshogu Shrine
Nikko was a place I looked forward to visiting. Unfortunately, as some of you already know from my blog, I had a rather subpar experience with Nikko. When I was in Japan again, I thought about giving Nikko a second chance however destiny seemed to have other plans for me. The day I was en route to Nikko, I ended up not transferring trains so that on a whim, I could visit and experience Sendai. Honestly, I can’t be any happier about that last minute change of plans as Sendai was such a breath of fresh air for me.
As disappointing as Nikko was, I must say that something good did come out of my trip. At Nikko’s Toshogu Shrine, I got blessed by a Shinto priest. More on this in a moment.

Otome Experience at Anime Expo 2019
If you read my previous post, you already know that I only had the opportunity to attend Anime Expo 2019 for one day. I thus was unable to see and do all things otome but allow me to share what I managed to get done anyway.
NTT Solmare Corp (Shall we date?), cybird and Voltage Otome Romance were present at AX 2019. Yes, I did say Voltage Otome Romance. (They didn’t hold a booth the year prior but did so this year!)

Cybird’s Ikemen Series booth experience at Anime Expo 2018
Since I was only at Anime Expo 2018 for a day, I was quite limited in what I could do. That said, I did pay a visit to Cybird’s booth inside the Exhibition Hall. There, I got a bag and a card (2 actually). The bag, I got after showing that I had the “Ikemen Revolution” app on my phone. This year’s bag was smaller than last year’s but it was still a nice freebie regardless. As for the cards, I received them after publicizing their booth to my Twitter account and showing it to an employee. The employee (male) was rather expression-less (just like last year) but I suppose that’s just a personality thing and I did get two cards from him, so I’m guessing it’s all good…
