Christmas at Bellagio

Bellagio Christmas Snowglobe

When I was in Vegas back in early December, a little place inside Bellagio was already looking, feeling and smelling like Christmas. This little place inside Bellagio was their conservatory and botanical garden where they had put on a holiday display for visitors to see.

Honestly, one of the first things I noticed upon entering the garden was how fragrant it was. It smelled the way Christmas was suppose to smell and I loved it. Another part of me was just amazed at how I could smell “Christmas” when I was inside a casino. 🤔 Anyone that’s been to Vegas knows how stinky the casinos can get but here, in this part of Bellagio, I couldn’t smell the scent of cigarettes. I could only smell the wonderful scent of Christmas. Unfortunately, this scent did not linger throughout the whole conservatory and botanical garden.

The holiday show was very detailed oriented. It was also something anyone can stop by to see for free. The downside of this show however was that it was small. (I think the issue was that I was expecting to see more since it’s called a conservatory and botanical garden.) It got to the point where I decided to ask a concierge employee about the botanical garden. When he pointed to where I had just gone to, I think I gave him a slightly dumbfounded look and asked if there was more to it. The concierge employee (nice guy, btw) tells me that there isn’t and that many people get confused about it since their displays will change every season. He mentioned that if someone were to come in the summer, they would be seeing something different.

Well, that part I already knew since I had read about the change in displays on Bellagio’s website prior to visiting the casino itself. I chose to thank the concierge employee, felt a tinge of disappointment and went off on my merry way to find something else to visit for free on the Las Vegas strip.
