In Japan. Again?

In Japan. Again? Haha, no. What I want to do today is show you how some people aren’t really where they say they are.

We know how difficult it is to travel abroad right now. Even traveling within the same country can be a hassle. So, what makes you think it’s any easier for your favorite influencer (or friend, even) to all of a sudden be in another country, just like that?

Yup, at the snap of two fingers and a bit of planning behind it all, anyone can easily appear to be somewhere else.

I took the photos below, here in California.

It was inside an itsy bitsy Japanese Garden at Descanso Gardens. Not the best Japanese Garden if you’ve been to other Japanese Gardens in California before. Yet, despite this, it can still manage to fool someone into thinking that you’re in Japan when you’re not.

I am serious. Take a look at my photos and tell me I’m right.

So, what was the point of this post? The point is to not believe everything you see by popular people and that you can find momentary escape near you at times. Always wanted to go to Japan, but can’t per the COVID situation? Then, just help yourself to obtain a bit of that desire. While it won’t be the same as being in Japan, you can pretend, save money and perhaps fool others into thinking that you were in Japan.
