What I Don’t Miss About Japan

Vegetarian options at Tokyo Disney Sea

    Lack of Vegetarian Food 🥕

You can live off of convenience store onigiris but you can’t live off of them for too long. Besides, the likelihood of your onigiri being available at all times is slim. (I managed to survive off of seasoned seaweed onigiris, inari sushi and junk, like fries.) Vegetarianism is a joke in Japan but I knew that before coming to the land of the rising sun and somehow made it work for me despite going hungry here and there during my trip.

    I am now a .com

I’ve always wanted my very own self-hosted .com blog/site and guess what? I finally did it! Yes!!! 🙂

Since I was using weebly beforehand, it’ll take a bit of time for me to get adjusted. It’ll also take a good amount of time for me to “import” my older posts onto this new site but it’ll happen. (In the meantime, all of my older posts will still of course be available for your viewing pleasure at weebly. In fact, I’m thinking of leaving all of my older posts on weebly even upon completion of “importation” just because. And if “importation” doesn’t work to my liking, well, I’ll just create a page/post linking to all of my older posts. lol

BTW, if you’re wondering why I’m writing import/importation with quotes around it, it’s because I have to manually import my posts onto my new .com blog. Fun, eh? Things would be a lot easier on me had I used a different host, but I loved weebly for what it was. Anyway, that was why I said it’d take some time for the importation process to go through.)

Please be patient with me as I gradually welcome you into this new and exciting blogging journey of mine’s.

    Toyota USA Automobile Museum

    Car at Toyota Musuem

There’s a “secret” in the city of Torrance that no one knows about. Or at least I didn’t know about it anyway until I finally learned of it’s existence.

So, what’s this “secret” that I’m talking about? Well, the city of Torrance is home to the Toyota USA Automobile Museum. Say what? I have a feeling a good amount of Southern Californians did not know this. I also have a good feeling that a decent amount of people living in Torrance didn’t know about it either but I could be wrong.

    Pre-Travel Worries

I have a trip planned. Although the trip isn’t in two weeks or anything, the reality is that time will pass by fast and before I know it, the trip will literally be in a matter of a few days.

As excited as I am for this trip, I can’t help but to harbor a few worries here and there.

Let’s explore some of my so-called worries, shall we?

    Anime Expo 2017: About Day 3 & 4

    Blue Spring Ride

On day 3 of Anime Expo 2017, I had sweated my way to the JW Marriot to watch Natsume’s Book of Friends only to learn about 5 minutes before the showing (from an employee/volunteer) that they weren’t able to get a hold of it and thus won’t be able to show it… Can we say wtf? There wasn’t a lot of people in the video room to begin with but everyone present was silent. They all were having a wtf moment. I obviously was bummed out since I really wanted to see Natsume’s Book of Friends. Oh well, right?

Instead of Natsume’s Book of Friends, AX played Blue Spring Ride for us. I can’t tell you how close I was to leaving. I’m glad to have stuck around though because I found myself liking Blue Spring Ride. I think I liked it because I was able to somehow relate to the main female character. It also helped how the main male character’s voice was nice… Like, you make me melt type of nice. Lol (If I could fall in love with a voice, it’d be this particular voice actor ‘s voice. Lol)

After three episodes of Blue Spring Ride, the room got cleared and it was time for me to get some grub.
