The Orange County Zoo
A goat at the OC Zoo If you’re looking to get your zoo fix but are short on time and money, the Orange County Zoo would be the perfect place to visit, provided that you’re already in the Irvine area, that is. I say this because it’s not a zoo I recommend visiting from afar as it’s a very small zoo and the zoo grounds can easily be visited in it’s entirety in less than an hour. The good thing about this zoo, though is that it’s not very well known and thus not very crowded, even on a weekend. -
A Fleeting Encounter at the Niomon Gate
Whenever I’m abroad, I always get amused at how we, as people can encounter so many people (strangers) only to see them once. It’s strange how the world works, isn’t it? When I was in Japan, this amusement (or amazement rather) seemed to heighten since there was hardly ever a day that I didn’t hang out on a train filled with people I didn’t know.

Pre-Travel Worries
I have a trip planned. Although the trip isn’t in two weeks or anything, the reality is that time will pass by fast and before I know it, the trip will literally be in a matter of a few days.As excited as I am for this trip, I can’t help but to harbor a few worries here and there.
